***Recommended that participants take the THURS 1PM “Portraits with Flash” Photo Seminar as a prerequisite.***
This dynamic workshop is a step-by-step guide in how to use speedlights, or portable flash, to make an effective portrait, both in the studio and on location. Using flash is tricky, but the settings and exposure techniques are fully explained and demonstrated. The students learn how to make beautiful fill flash, how to use one light on camera for easy and simple portraits and how to use one off camera with radio remotes for more control with the direction of light. The participants will have hands-on experience working with the lights and various modifiers. Bobbi provides the photographer with essential lighting techniques and hands on supervised shooting time with models to help each individual.
Participants should have good camera skills and at least one flash that can be used TTL.
