Kevin Loughlin was raised to appreciate nature while exploring the woodlands of Pennsylvania. At age six, during a family trip through the American West, Kevin became fascinated with photography as well seeing the new and different birds throughout North America. Instilled with a love for travel and seeking new, exciting destinations he felt a desire to share his experiences with others and in 1993 he created Wildside Nature Tours.
Kevin’s photographs and articles have appeared in publications such as Nature Photographer, WildBird, Audubon and Birding and Living Bird Magazines, as well as the many natural history books including more than a dozen in the recent "Peterson's Reference Guide to Owls of North America and the Caribbean." His latest project in progress is a book about the Galapagos Islands.

We want you to enjoy and learn as much as you can in your field workshops. Therefore it is important to arrive early and have all of your gear ready to go. Each field workshop will begin with a 10 minute overview of the subject and techniques. Have your gear ready when you arrive so you do not miss out or hold up the group. Suggested gear lists are included with each field workshop.
